The Pere Lachaise Cemetery is a highlight of places to visit in Paris. Just a ten minute walk from the apartments, don't miss it.

Most people know it because Jim Morrison of the Doors is buried there, not to mention Edith Piaf, Simonne Signoret, Yves Montand and hundreds, no thousands, of the notable and less notable in French history. It is also a wonderful place to stroll.
